What if I see a bracelet on your site that will be too small for me? TOP
That is easily remedied by emailing me and asking me to make the item of your choice in a larger size. Depending on the materials used to lengthen your item there is a slight fee. How do I arrange a private class with you? TOP
I do offer private classes for students that prefer a one on one learning experience. You can email me or call me at silverandspice@verizon.net or call me at 978-689-2817 to set up a time for a class. Classes presently offered are chain maille weaves, beading stitches and basic wirework.
What is your shipping policy? TOP
Shipping can be either first class with delivery confirmation for 3.00 for the first item and .50 for each item thereafter, or priority mail w delivery confirmation which is a flat 4.50. Shipping to Canada is 8.00.
At this time I am unable to ship to certain countries. You must enter a zip code/postal code and the credit card billing code must match the shipping code.
When using a credit card, I can not ship to an address other than that of the credit cardholder. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
You can choose to insure your purchase at the time of checkout. It is highly recommended that you do. If you choose not to and the package is lost, I cannot be responsible for it.
Return Policy TOP
If you receive an item and it proves to be defective in workmanship for up to 30 days, you may return it to have it repaired, re-made or take a merchandise credit. Simply contact me to arrange to have it shipped back. I will gladly cover the amount of shipping to return the package to me.
How do I care for my sterling silver jewelry? TOP
Sterling silver will tarnish and should be kept away from detergents, harsh chemicals, perfumes and other aerosols. Do not wear it while bathing or swimming. Chlorine will darken the silver. If it is tarnished it can be cleaned with a soft polishing cloth, or a paste of baking soda and water. Scrub with a soft toothbrush.
Liquid silver cleaner is also available and may work better for the heavier chains. However, if using the liquid cleaner be sure to follow the directions on the package. The silver should not be left in the liquid for long periods of time.
When not wearing your silver, I recommend keeping it locked in an airtight zip-loc bag. How do I order jump rings? TOP
Jump rings can be ordered by emailing me. I can give you a quote if you'd like. If you are unsure of what sizes to use but you know what you want to make I will be happy to tell you what I use for that weave.
